This is an old revision of the document!

Hacking refers to the unauthorized or unsanctioned access or manipulation of computer systems or networks. Hackers use various techniques and tools to exploit vulnerabilities in computer systems, gain unauthorized access to data, or disrupt services.

Hacking can have various motivations, including personal gain, political activism, espionage, or sabotage. Some hackers may attempt to steal sensitive information or compromise the security of a system for financial gain, while others may use their skills to highlight vulnerabilities and advocate for stronger security measures.

It's worth noting that while hacking is often associated with malicious intent, not all hacking is inherently bad. Ethical hackers, also known as “white hat” hackers, use their skills and knowledge to identify and report vulnerabilities in computer systems, helping organizations to improve their security measures.
